Christmas 2012

We had a great Christmas bounty this year thanks to our fantastic family. I never expected to be getting so many packages.

I cannot begin to express how very thankful I am for our family's generosity. You made my children's Christmas! I love you all so very much!
This Christmas was kind of hard for our family. For the first time, we were all by ourselves. No family, and even worse, Daddy had to work a 24 hour shift starting at 9 am Christmas morning.

We've had some "milestones" with our little Lil.
She got her first black eye
It was hard keeping her occupied as we sat and waited in the ER. There was lots of Chapstick applications, and tons of tickles to try to keep buggy awake.

Miss Lil also discovered that she can hop out of her crib. So, we converted it into a toddler bed, but since she's no longer confined to her designated sleeping area, she has decided that she does not need to go to sleep at a decent hour.
She has decided that if she is to sleep, she must fall asleep with Mommy or Daddy, and they must also be sleeping too. This especially goes for naps. It's going to be interesting once Daddy goes back to work full time, and sisters go back to school.

He is the Reason

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Our Savior and Lord, I praise His name.

From the Bailey Family, we wish you and yours a very
Merry Christmas

Miss Lily is 2

This sweet little bug is 2!

You should always be allowed to lick from the cake batter bowl on your birthday.

Some of her favorite things are:
ELMO!
Riding big sister's tricycle
ELMO!
Playing with her sisters
ELMO!
Eating; especially candies, cookies, and frosting
Oh, did I mention Elmo? She LOVES Elmo.

Pinterest Fail

I have had acne for most of my life. I can't seem to get rid of it unless I'm on some serious antibiotics. Since we moved, I haven't been able to see a new dermatologist, and have run out of my antibiotics. So, my face has been exploding! I get at least one new pimple everyday. I'm desperate to find something that will help until I can see a dermatologist. I found something on Pinterest that said to mix 1 part apple cider vinegar with 3 parts water. Let the mix sit for a few minutes and wipe on your face with a cotton ball. Let it sit for 15 minutes and wash off with cold water. Then, take a cotton swab and put it in the vinegar mix and swab it on the pimple and let it sit overnight. The blogpost said that her large pimple on her forehead was gone by morning.

Before:
Ugh! It looks terrible.

 After:
I took the after picture with a different camera. So, you can't really tell how much there was absolutely no change what-so-ever. Not even the little pimples were affected.

1st Day of School

Alyssa's First Day of School

Micah's First Day of School and Alyssa's Second Day

Today was Lily's first day at day care. I was sad, and worried that she would be sad for me to leave her. We walked in, washed our hands, and she left me to go play. I'm glad that she wasn't upset, but I felt bad that she didn't mind that I did leave without her. When I went to pick her up she was having a dance party and came home with a few new dance moves. I think she had an awesome time and is going to like day care.

Summer 2012

This past summer...

Micah graduated from Pre-School,

We went to our ward's barbecue where the primary played tug-of-war with the bishop,

Had a mustache and
uni-brow party,

Took the girl's to their very first parade,

Went to the Steel Days SheDaisy concert,

At a LOT of the most delicious Korean food at Cafe Seoul,

Went to the farm at Thanksgiving Pointe,

(and made some new friends)

Had some good times,
(I'm going to miss you Sunbae Nim!)

Spent time with family,

and moved across the country.
